  • to schedule installation and maintenance appointments;
  • to respond to requests for service or information or any other requests made by you or on your behalf by any individual or by an Authorized Dealer;

  • to register and process recall information;
  • to correspond where required in the execution of warranty and recall information;
  • to correspond where required in the execution customer rewards;
  • to correspond where required in the execution promotions/programs;
  • to provide geographic information to GIS analyst relating to business or locations where products are to be installed or services to be provided on installations;
  • for warranty tracking purposes;
  • to provide you with information on special offers or promotions offered by Core One Mechanical Group;
  • to effect, validate, confirm or facilitate registration or eligibility for federal or provincial grants, rebates or other similar programs.

We also use the personal information you have provided to us to communicate with you and safeguard your and our respective interests. We will send you important notices, and respond to any special needs or enquiries you may have. We may also send you information about other products and services in which we believe you may be interested.

Types of Information We Collect:

The type of personal information we may ask for depends on and is related to the reason (or purpose) such personal information was provided to us. For instance, in programs where Core One Mechanical Group is providing homeowner incentives we would require mailing information for the cheque mailing purposes. How We Collect Such Personal Information:

We may gather such personal information from you in person, over the telephone or by corresponding with you via mail, facsimile, the Internet, or from third parties (such as an Authorized Dealer). When you use the services of an Authorized Dealer, the provisions of the Privacy Policy govern the personal information transferred to Core One Mechanical Group.

To safeguard against unauthorized access to the Authorized Dealer’s accounts, which may contain your personal information, the Authorized Dealer is required to “sign-on” using a user id and a password to certain secured areas of the Core One Mechanical Group web site. Both user id and password are encrypted when sent over the Internet. If the Authorized Dealer is unable to provide the correct password, the Authorized Dealer will not be able to access these sections. The Authorized Dealer is subject to the provisions of its contractual agreement with Core One Mechanical Group and the Core One Mechanical Group website Terms of Use this Privacy Policy.

When you call our customer service centre you will be required to verify your identity by providing some personally identifying information.

Accessing and Amending Your Information:

You have the right to access, verify and amend the information held in your personal files. You may access and verify any of your information by calling our company.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Privacy Policy, and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of the Ontario, Canada and applicable federal laws of Canada, excluding any rules of private international law or the conflict of laws which would lead to the application of any other laws.
