Save Money

The initial investment for a geothermal system is greater than that of a conventional system. However, when you consider the operating costs of a geothermal heating, cooling, and water heating system, energy savings can quickly offset the initial difference in purchase price.

As a general rule, energy-efficient equipment is more cost-effective than other models. It not only saves energy, it also saves money. Even though the installed costs (purchase price plus installation) and the payments needed to finance them (principal and interest) are higher, the difference is offset by lower energy bills. For Home and Commercial properties there are

Federal Grants available.  For your home there is – ecoEnergy Retrofit $4,375

June 6, 2011 – March 31, 2012
The Federal Canada ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes program provides a maximum grant of $5,000 (up to $4375 for the installation of a ground source heat pump) to help homeowners make their homes more energy-efficient and reduce the burden of high energy costs.

Save Earth

Geothermal systems conserve natural resources by providing climate control very efficiently-thus also lowering emissions. Geothermal systems also minimize ozone layer destruction by using factory-sealed refrigeration systems, which will seldom or never have to be recharged.

Currently installed systems are making a huge difference in our environment! The systems are eliminating more than three million tons of carbon dioxide which is equivalent to taking 650,000 automobiles off the road. Geothermal systems conserve energy because they move heat that already exists rather than burning something to create heat; they reduce the amount of toxic emissions in the atmosphere. They use renewable energy from the sun, and because the system only relies on outside air for fresh air purposes it keeps the air inside of buildings cleaner and free from pollens, outdoor pollutants, mould spores, and other allergens with exceptional air filtration.
